Harris Gruman, a union and community organizer, has been a member of the Boston area HONK Organizing Committee for ten years or so. HONK combines his interests in participatory culture and politics.
The combination of pioneering ways to do safe live performances (“Reverse Porchfest”) with a truly international festival (7 continents!) virtually was inspiring and a step forward despite the crisis.
Use technology to both think globally and act locally!
