Matthew Naimi
Matthew Naimi is a simple garbage man from Detroit. By complete accident, I have created wonderful things by saying yes to any idea and then helping to make yes happen. Everyone has candy to share, and sharing your candy with others to Make Art Work builds community and a more connected future for all people. If you build it, they will come … if they build it, they will stay.
Perfect time to build something that will bring people together, both during and post pandemic.
Being someone who always looked to build projects outside of the systems currently in play allows projects to grow/pivot/flow, to be alive and ready to adapt to changing conditions.
Communicate with everyone you meet. Maintain physical and long distance communications. Always listen, never dismiss an idea as absurd… and be willing to follow and lead.
My 6-year-old son. Watching someone grow and deal with life during this time has allowed me to step back and realize that the world is always changing and our comfort zone must change as well.
